Fairies, Pixies, and Lore...

Last month, I had the opportunity to travel to the middle of nowhere to shoot "Miss Dun D". At the end of last year, she had shaved her head in support of a friend with cancer. This takes a lot of moxy, especially when your a model with such amazing hair. When I first approached Miss D about shooting with her, I discovered she had always wanted to do a Fairy photo shoot. She knew a perfect spot near a river where she had grown up. We set the date and had a great shoot. The only casulty was an umbrella that happened to fall over during one breath of wind that came when I had the umbrella set up...

Fun with Friends

During the cold month of February, I met Lindsay during a meeting. She is an amazing make up artist and model who offered to help a starving photographer out. After doing a Test-Shot session, Lindsay was kind enough to plan a full day's event in which she gathered all her girlfriends and do several themed shoots.

It was a great day! I took over 1000 images and shot 5 models. We ended the day tired and exhausted, but captured some great shots and looks.

Grand Tetons

Just returned home from visiting the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. The Fall colors were just starting, so I unfortunately was a bit early to catch the peak of the amazing colors fall has to offer. It rained and even snowed most time so, finding that perfect light was difficult. The wind almost blew over my tripod!

Even all said, it was a blast to get away from the norm and try some landscape techniques I have been studying. Look to the site in the next while for images!

Looking for People willing to be shot outdoors

The Fall is quickly approaching and that means cooler weather and snow! I would like to get in some last shoots outdoors before it gets too cold. I have several vehicles, including one of my own which could use some beautiful faces in front of them, possibly for a 2009 calendar. TFP offered.
